Enteam returns with an album that encapsulates the year. On the 18th, Enteam released their second studio album, 'Yukiakari.' 'Yukiakari' refers to a phenomenon where the surroundings appear bright due to light reflected off the snow. It is the final chapter of the album series inspired by the four seasons, corresponding to 'winter.' Enteam's four seasons series began with 'Samidare' about spring, followed by 'Aoarashi' in summer, and 'Jugoya' in autumn.
The new release suggests a new beginning and hope for the boys, who have grown closer through spring, summer, and autumn. It includes four new songs, including the title track of the same name, 'Dear Hunter,' 'Illumination,' and 'Crescent Moon's Wish.' Both 'Yukiakari' and 'Dear Hunter' have been sung in Korean versions. In addition, 16 previously released songs are included, making a total of 22 tracks. The album encapsulates the year of non-stop efforts by Enteam since the spring.
The producers involved are also noteworthy. Vincenzo, who has made hit songs for various K-pop artists, along with Hybe Labels’ Bang Si-hyuk, Soma Genda, and rising producer Nokk, contributed to the album. Circuit also joined forces. Circuit is a hit-maker known for working on Miley Cyrus's 'Wrecking Ball,' Maroon 5's 'Girls Like You,' Jungkook's 'Seven,' and 'APT.' by Rosé and Bruno Mars.
The title track is impressive for its emotional guitar riff that transitions into a dynamic melody. The lyrics capture the ambitions of the boys, who are embarking on a new beginning with confidence that they can achieve anything after spending the four seasons together.
The song 'Dear Hunter' compares the boys' growth taking their first steps into adulthood to the image of wolves. It features a dark pop sound complemented by the members' alluring vocals.
The pre-released song 'Illumination' is a medium-tempo ballad. Its gentle melody and romantic lyrics harmonize with Enteam's captivating vocals, amplifying the winter sentiment.
Notably, this album includes the first fan song, 'Crescent Moon's Wish.' The members express their sincerity in continuing their journey with their fandom, Lune.
Meanwhile, Enteam will hold a showcase in Tokyo, Japan, on the 19th to commemorate the release of their second studio album. On the 27th, they will attend the '2024 Asia Artist Awards' in Bangkok, Thailand.
