Aireet presents a colorful new song.
On the 27th at 1 PM (Korean time), Aireet released the remix version of the title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' from their third mini album 'Night' (bomb).
The album consists of a total of seven tracks, including the original and four remix versions. There are also a slowed-down reverb version and an instrumental version that adjusts the original song's tempo.
The remix versions add to the listening enjoyment. The Snail's House Remix is handled by Japanese DJ and producer Snail's House.
He specializes in Pluck & Beep and chip-tune sound tracks, aligning with the musical colors that Aireet showcased in 'Magnetic' and 'Tick-Tack.'
The Sunlight Remix is a track aimed at summer, with a rhythmic bass line that makes the shoulders sway. The cat sounds are addictive.
Producer Fig Tape participated in both the original and the remix, infusing a completely different emotion into the piece. It evokes an even hotter summer image.
French electronic musicians Breakbot and Irfane also lent their strength to Aireet, emphasizing the French house color of the original track.
'Borrowed Cat' is a French house genre song that captures the excitement of a first date. It gained attention for its unique lyrics resembling cat language, such as 'Meow Meow' and 'Doom Chit Meow.'
It captivated listeners both domestically and internationally. The song ranked in Melon's 'Top 100' and topped Apple Music Korea's 'Today's Top 100' for six consecutive days (from the 18th to the 23rd).
The new release was also well received, with 'Night' recording 400,000 copies in first-week sales. It reached the upper ranks of the Japanese Oricon and Billboard Japan album charts.
