Actor Ahn Hyo-seop is taking on voice acting.

Ahn Hyo-seop will participate as a voice artist in the Netflix animated film "K-Pop Demon Hunters" (written by Danya Jimenez and Hannah McMehan, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Apfelbaum).

The Present Company announced on the 25th, "Ahn Hyo-seop will voice the character 'Jinwoo,' the leader of a boy group and the male protagonist in 'K-Pop Demon Hunters.'"

Ahn Hyo-seop is expected to deliver all his lines in English, going beyond simple acting to convey the subtle nuances of emotions through his voice alone.

"K-Pop Demon Hunters" is a hybrid action musical animation. It depicts the experiences of K-pop girl group members who hunt demons outside the stage.

Sony Pictures Animation is involved in the production. This production company has created global hits such as "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse."

Other Korean actors, including Lee Byung-hun and Kim Yunjin, are also participating in this project, although specific roles have not been disclosed. TWICE will perform the OST.

"K-Pop Demon Hunters" will be released on Netflix on June 20.
