Aespa returns with an upgraded 'metallic taste.' On the 15th, SM Entertainment released a new teaser image for Aespa's 5th mini-album 'Whiplash,' showcasing the members' striking visuals and intense 'metallic taste' performance.

The diverse visuals of the members in the photos immediately draw attention. Especially Winter, who experimented with a red bob hairstyle. Aespa flawlessly completes their silk look, reminiscent of AI characters.

The new album includes a total of 6 tracks. The title track of the same name is an EDM-based dance song characterized by a fast-paced bass and house beat. This marks Aespa's first attempt at a techno style since their debut.

The choreography is also known for its intense metallic taste. The move of grabbing the neck during the hook section uniquely and impactfully expresses the song title. Additionally, there are bold sections, including a shoulder isolation performance.

The tracks have already been previewed. Ahead of the comeback, 4 solo tracks by each member were surprisingly revealed at their 2nd concert on the 9th. Among them, 'Up,' written by Karina, is receiving an exceptionally enthusiastic response.

'Up' swept the number 1 spot on Melon Top 100, Hot 100, and daily charts. It also topped the real-time charts on Bugs, FLO, and Genie, as well as Apple Music's 'Today's Top 100: Korea' chart.

Aespa will release 'Whiplash' on the 21st at 6 PM.
