Aespa swept the global charts with their new release. They released their new mini-album 'Whiplash' on the 21st, which entered the iTunes Worldwide Albums chart at number one. It topped the top album charts in 17 countries/regions, including Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Turkey, Hong Kong, Brazil, Russia, and Singapore.

The album also dominated the Chinese charts. 'Whiplash' reached number one on Tencent Music's integrated K-pop chart and topped QQ Music's album sales and music video charts.

Their popularity in Japan was also notable. Aespa ranked first on Japan's AWA real-time rising chart and topped both the latest and daily international song charts on Mora.

The album's success was reflected on domestic charts as well. The title track of the same name as the album reached the top of major music charts such as Melon, Bugs, and Genie immediately after its release.

Aespa's previous works are also experiencing lasting success. Karina's solo song 'UP' hit number one on the Melon weekly chart, and 'Supernova' is maintaining its position.

Meanwhile, Aespa is hosting a pop-up store event titled 'Aespa Week-#Whiplash Mood' in the Seongsu-dong area of Seoul until the 3rd of next month to commemorate the album release.
