Aespa proved their global music power.
Aespa released their first full-length album, "Armageddon," last May. They promoted with the double title tracks "Supernova" and the album's namesake song.
They gained immense popularity both domestically and internationally. According to the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, "Supernova" surpassed 100 million total streams as of the 10th.
It is their 10th song to reach 100 million streams. Songs like "Black Mamba," "Next Level," "Savage," "Girls," "Illusion," "Spicy," and "Drama" have also surpassed 100 million streams.
They have also caught the attention of foreign media. Their Japanese debut single "Hot Mess" was selected as one of the "Best New Songs of the Week" by America's Uproxx.
Uproxx highlighted Aespa's Japanese debut, saying, "The K-pop supernovas are following up their first full-length album with another activity through 'Hot Mess'."
Aespa continues to be active not only in Korea but also in the global market. The media outlet added, "Aespa fans never have to worry about a lack of content."
Meanwhile, Aespa will hold their arena tour "SYNK: PARALLEL LINE-IN JAPAN" in Nagoya on the 11th and in Saitama on the 14th-15th.
