Aespa has captivated global music charts with the taste of ‘metal’.

According to Spotify, Aespa entered the ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart (as of the 21st) at 53rd place with the title track ‘Whiplash’ from their 5th mini-album.

It proved its music power by being streamed 2,102,148 times on the first day of release.

This is Aespa’s highest entry record and the highest entry rank among K-pop girl groups released this year.

This achievement was made with streaming counts in just 15 hours. Aespa released ‘Whiplash’ on the 21st at 6 PM and immediately struck global music charts with the new song.

They are also active on music charts worldwide.

With this album, Aespa topped the iTunes Top Album chart in a total of 24 regions, including Colombia and Spain.

They are also very popular in China and Japan, ranking first on the integrated K-pop chart across five music platforms under Tencent Music and topping the latest and daily foreign song charts on Japan’s Mora.

Meanwhile, Aespa will perform their comeback stage on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 24th.
