Aespa continues the long-running popularity of "Supernova."
SM Entertainment announced on the 23rd, "Aespa will make a comeback in the second half of this year. They will release their 5th mini album 'Whiplash' on October 21."
Aespa's comeback will be after about 5 months. They released their first full album "Armageddon" last May. They gained popularity with double title tracks.
In particular, "Supernova" set a new record on Melon, the largest music site in Korea. It ranked first for the longest duration (15 weeks) since the service began in November 2004.
The new album will contain a total of 6 tracks. It will include various genre songs, including the title track of the same name. It will showcase Aespa's unique music.
Meanwhile, Aespa will start pre-orders for 'Whiplash' at various online and offline music stores from today.
