On the morning of the 4th, following the unanimous decision by the Constitutional Court to dismiss President Yoon Suk-yeol, Acting President Han Duck-soo issued a statement.

He stated, "I take this unfortunate situation, which marks the second impeachment of a sitting head of state in our constitutional history, very seriously," and added, "As Acting President, I will maintain a firm security posture to ensure there are no gaps in national security and diplomacy."

He further emphasized, "I will take all necessary measures to ensure there are no disruptions in responding to urgent issues such as trade wars, and I will establish public order to alleviate any anxiety among the people while thoroughly preparing for various disasters."

Additionally, he conveyed, "In order to honor the will of the sovereign people and ensure the next government can be established without any issues, I will do my utmost to manage the upcoming presidential election."
