Abandoned Puppy Vero Next to a Slaughterhouse in Cold Winter… Goes on ‘Red Carpet’ to Find a New Family (Video)

Abandoned Dog Vero, Found Near a Slaughterhouse, is Looking for a Forever Home

One-year-old puppy Vero, with ears that resemble white dumplings, was abandoned next to a slaughterhouse on the coldest day of winter.

At the time, Vero managed to survive with her siblings by sharing body warmth inside a small box.

She expresses love to people with her entire body and is a gentle soul who generously shares with her puppy friends, but she was left alone after all her siblings found new families.

Charming Doongi, with round light brown eyebrows on her black forehead, was kept chained with a short metal chain next to a sewer. At that time, she continued to live while enviously watching friends walking around her.

Doongi would stretch her paws desperately as the only toy, her food bowl, rolled away, tugging at the choking metal chain.

Witnessing this, a rescuer saved her and cared for her with love, and now she is looking for someone who will become her forever family.

On the 17th, from 10 AM to 7 PM, the '2nd Pimfy Adoption Fair' will be held at Incheon Danam Forest Dog Village, where over 100 abandoned dogs like Vero and Doongi will be waiting to find their new families.

This second adoption fair, hosted by the temporary protection platform for abandoned animals, 'Pimfy Virus,' features 'candidate dogs' ready to meet families walking the red carpet in search of new owners.

Pimfy Virus is sequentially revealing photos and stories of over 100 candidate dogs on social media.

Adoption and temporary care consultations for all candidate dogs will be available starting on the 17th, and if you wish to meet the dogs in person, you can apply for an adoption ticket and visit the venue.

The proceeds will be used for operating the adoption event and to raise awareness about the culture of temporary protection.

At last year's inaugural adoption fair, one participant who adopted abandoned dogs, Woojeong and Brownie, shared, “It was love at first sight. The puppies in temporary care all showed signs of having been loved.”

The participant also added, “It was great to directly ask questions to the temporary caregivers,” encouraging those considering adopting abandoned dogs to attend the event.

The hosting organization, Pimfy Virus, wrote on social media, “On this warm spring day, let it be a miraculous day for the children who have waited so long to be embraced by a family. We appreciate your support.”
