Immediately after the incident, citizens reported to the fire department that "there is a pig on the highway shoulder."

Fortunately, the fallen pig was on the shoulder rather than the main road, resulting in no additional traffic accidents or congestion.

Police and Korea Expressway Corporation promptly dispatched personnel to the scene to manage the situation, ensuring safety measures were in place until the livestock transport vehicle returned to the accident site, loaded the pig, and left.

The importance of proper livestock transport management for accident prevention was highlighted.

Although this incident concluded without injury or vehicle damage, the potential for livestock to escape on the highway poses risks that could lead to major traffic accidents.

In particular, there is a high likelihood of secondary accidents occurring as vehicles driving at high speeds attempt to avoid suddenly appearing animals.

A police official explained, "The pig that fell from the transport vehicle was on the shoulder, so no additional accidents or traffic congestion occurred."

He added, "It is important for livestock transport vehicles to ensure safe operation and to regularly check that the cargo doors are properly closed."
