A 50-Year-Old Woman in Seongnam Found Naked, Suspected of Killing Her 80-Year-Old Mother

A 50-year-old woman found wandering in a naked state in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, has been urgently arrested by the police on suspicion of murdering her 80-year-old mother.

On the 30th of last month, the Seongnam Sujeong Police Station announced that they are investigating a woman identified as A for the suspected murder of her mother B under charges of parricide.

According to the police, A is accused of killing her mother B, with whom she lived in a multi-unit residence in Seongnam's Sujeong District, by stabbing her multiple times with a weapon.

The incident became known around 2:38 PM that day when a citizen reported, "A woman is wandering around naked" via a 112 emergency call.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police found A wandering the streets in a naked state, and during the process of taking her back to her residence due to her inability to communicate normally, they discovered B's corpse inside the room.

In police questioning, A reportedly made statements indicating that "my mother made my life difficult, so I killed her."

The Seongnam Sujeong Police are conducting a thorough investigation into A's motives and circumstances surrounding the crime, and they plan to request an arrest warrant.
