Vehicle Theft Incident Targeting Unlocked Cars Captured on CCTV
A vehicle theft incident that occurred near Ganjedong in Daejeon has been fully captured on CCTV, raising concerns among residents.
On the 17th, a victim alerted the incident in a post titled "My car in front of the store was robbed" on the self-employed community 'It Hurts Because I'm the Boss.'
According to the post, Mr. A, who operates a store, had his wallet stolen from his vehicle.

The released CCTV footage shows two individuals, appearing to be students, inspecting vehicles with unfolded side mirrors around 4 a.m. on the 15th.
One of them tried the car door handle, and when it opened, he stole the wallet inside and quickly left the scene.
Victim's Plea and Resident Awareness
The victim, Mr. A, expressed his feelings, saying, "The wallet contained security cards, photos, identification, and various cards. I feel hopeless. Even if they take the cash, I wish they would return the wallet."

He also stated, "It seems like they are intentionally robbing places here and there, and I post this because I think there might be more victims," urging local residents to be vigilant.
