A long letter from a MONSTA X member who did not renew a contract with the agency alone to fans

I.M, the youngest member of the idol group MONSTA X, did not renew his contract with his agency Starship Entertainment (Starship) alone.

On August 8th, Monsta X member I.M posted a handwritten letter he wrote on the official fan cafe and expressed his honest feelings to the fans.

He explained the reason for leaving the agency, saying, “I’ve heard a lot about it as long as I’ve been with Starship for a long time, but now I feel that I need a new challenge, so I’ve made this decision after much deliberation.”

I.M said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Starship family who have spent many days laughing and crying together.”

He also did not forget to leave a word of thanks to the fandom ‘Monbebe’.

I.M said with affection, “Monbebe and MONSTA X, who made the happiest and brightest moments together, will be with MONBEBE as six people.”

Although the contract with the agency has ended, I.M is expected to continue activities with the members in the future.

Many fans applauded I.M, who showed his will to continue MONSTA X’s activities.

Earlier, Starship Entertainment said, “Recently, we have renewed contracts with 5 Monsta X members Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon and Jooheon.”

The agency added, “The love for MONSTA X and Monbebe is the same for all 6 members, so we have reached an agreement with I.M to continue our group activities in the future.”

Meanwhile, MONSTA X is taking a break after successfully completing the ‘2022 MONSTA X NO LIMIT US TOUR’ recently.
