The Experience of a University Student Collecting Women's Phone Numbers Sparks Controversy
A university student has sparked significant controversy by collecting the phone numbers of over 50 women and sharing detailed feedback about his experiences.
On the 22nd, a post titled "Getting Numbers Feedback Note Is Not Easy" was uploaded to an anonymous community for university students.
The author, referred to as A, shared a notebook detailing the characteristics, success rates, advantages, and problems faced when collecting the phone numbers of women from 2020 to this year. Over the five years, A attempted to gather phone numbers from 51 women, all of whom he claims resulted in failure. In just this year, he tried to collect the phone numbers of 29 women.

A stated that the first woman he approached for her number was someone he met on the subway, and he analyzed, "The advantage is the spirit of challenge. The problems (causes of failure) were a lack of confidence, appearance, and self-management."
He also listed women he approached in various locations, including stationery stores, bus stops, café workers, students from his academy, junior students from his major, and cinema staff. He noted that if a woman was pretty, he labeled her as 'Pretty,' and if she was exceptionally attractive, he marked her as 'Ultra Pretty.'
A further detailed his experiences: "A 31-year-old married woman, the advantage was vague but I approached her. The downside was her eyesight," "A twenty-year-old girl with a massive backside. The advantage was that I approached her first after seeing her. The downside was that looking at her face and age was not appealing," "Two high school girls, the advantage was they are high schoolers but I approached them, the downside was they didn't look good from the front," "I approached a girl who looked like a high school student sitting in the elderly seat without fear. But she turned out to be a middle schooler. Pay attention! I'm going to jail," he wrote.

Upon reading the post, internet users criticized A, speculating, "He must be an overweight man who doesn't take care of himself." In response, he argued, "I’m in great shape. I've been working out for about four years, and people often ask me 'Do you exercise?'"
Regarding suspicions of fabrication, he insisted, "It's true," explaining that it was not easy to encounter these situations naturally, which led him to start collecting numbers. He also stated he collected numbers because he wanted to date, adding that if his goal were to have sexual relations, he would have preferred going to a brothel instead.

A emphasized that he goes to the gym to overcome his depression, setting the goal of breaking free from being a lifelong single. He countered accusations of being a nuisance by claiming he does not forcefully cling to women to collect their numbers, insisting he does not act like a psycho.
However, netizens criticized A's behavior, pointing out that he does not regard women as individuals but rather treats them as game quests. Many expressed their discomfort over his willingness to ask for numbers from minors and his graphic recording of physical features.
