"Desperate Battle to End All Evil Ties"
"Gyeongseong Creature 2" hints at a deeper narrative and suspense. It unfolds connections tied by fate and enmities that transcend time. The main poster and trailer were unveiled on the 12th.
Set beyond Gyeongseong in 1945, it showcases characters living in Seoul in 2024. Hojae (Park Seo-joon) and Chae-ok (Han So-hee) protect each other. New characters such as Captain Kuroko (Lim Ju-hwan) and Seung-jo (Bae Hyun-sung) also make an appearance.
The trailer is profoundly moving. Taesang narrates from 1945 Gyeongseong, "Spring in Gyeongseong was arriving unusually early," while Chae-ok responds in 2024 Seoul, "But my winter hasn't ended yet."
A series of mysterious murders occur across Seoul. Chae-ok secretly investigates these scenes. The nightmare from Gyeongseong's past continues.
Hojae runs 'Bugang Trading Company.' He encounters Chae-ok and is thrown into turmoil. Together, they delve into Jeonseung Pharmaceutical, where covert experiments are taking place.
Captain Kuroko and Seung-jo persistently chase the duo. Seung-jo instantly recognizes Chae-ok, who shares similar abilities with him. They clash with different motives.
Chae-ok sobs, telling Hojae, "I might even kill you." Amidst intense battles, they embrace each other. Chae-ok asks, "Will we also have better days?"
"Gyeongseong Creature 2" follows Hojae and Chae-ok as they unravel connections, fate, and enmities from 1945 Gyeongseong in 2024. It premieres on Netflix this Friday, the 27th.
