BOYNEXTDOOR is on the rise, achieving career highs on both music and album charts.
BOYNEXTDOOR released their 3rd mini-album '19.99' on the 9th. The title track 'Nice Guy' entered the Melon Daily Chart at number 86 on that day.
The Melon Daily Chart reflects the streaming and download usage over 24 hours as of noon every day. 'Nice Guy' charted within 18 hours.
This is the first time their songs have entered the daily chart, as they had only made it to real-time charts before. The agency interpreted this as a result of fanbase growth.
Their influence has also grown in the album market. According to Hanteo Chart, '19.99' sold 69,666 copies on the day of release, a roughly 56% increase compared to their previous work.
They broke their record for best performance. The new album surpassed the first-week sales of their previous album on its first day. 'HOW?' sold 530,000 copies in its first week.
The music video is also gaining popularity. The 'Nice Guy' music video surpassed 10 million views on YouTube by the 10th and is maintaining the 8th spot on trending music.
'Nice Guy' is an easy listening track that you can hum along to even after just one listen. It’s a song about youths on the brink of turning 20, expressing 'well-founded confidence.'
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR will appear on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 12th.
