'Next' is a mystery horror film. It depicts the events that occur when school friends gather to participate in a séance to summon a ghost. It is a new work by rookie director Son Dong-wan.
In the film, 'Park Ja-young' is a responsible character. She participates in the séance to find out the whereabouts of her missing sister. When strange things start happening, she struggles to ensure the survival of her companions, leading the drama.
Kim Ye-rim has received much love from global fans through various musical activities as a member of Red Velvet. She has shown her presence as an actress through works like 'Mint Condition' and 'Blue Birthday'.
In particular, she was recognized for her stable acting skills in her recent work 'Cheongdam International High School'. Her charismatic charm raises even more expectations for her appearance in this movie.
Kim Ye-rim shared her thoughts, saying, "I have been interested in the horror genre, and I am glad to take on this challenge. I am both nervous and excited, especially since this is my first movie appearance since my debut."
