‘Not your Dong-jae, but our Dong-jae’ is coming.
On the 4th, TVING released a teaser trailer for its new original series 'Good or Bad Dong-jae' (written by Hwang Ha-jung and Kim Sang-won, directed by Park Gun-ho).
The teaser video is about 54 seconds long. Seo Dong-jae (played by Lee Jun-hyuk) makes an appearance. He exclaims, "Veteran prosecutor, back from hell alive."
Contrary to his grand entrance, reality is quite dismal. He fails yet another department head promotion. Angered, he quickly puts on a sly smile.
His masterful flattery as a survival strategy doesn’t work. All Seo Dong-jae receives are trivial cases, hinting at a tumultuous survival story.
Yet he doesn't give up. "So this is how it feels, to become the protagonist," he says, facing the challenge head-on, building anticipation for the main show.
'Good or Bad Dong-jae' is a spin-off of the 'Secret Forest' series. The story revolves around the irksome yet endearing prosecutor Seo Dong-jae.
Seo Dong-jae wants to break free from his reputation as a sponsor prosecutor. However, Nam Wan-sung (played by Park Sung-woong), the CEO of Ihong Construction, digs up his past mistakes, leading to a dirty fight.
The series is directed by Park Gun-ho. Writers Hwang Ha-jung and Kim Sang-won co-wrote the script, with creator Lee Soo-yeon, known for 'Secret Forest.'
'Good or Bad Dong-jae' will premiere on the 10th of next month.
