'BIGBANG' members finally gathered together. G-Dragon and Daesung joined Taeyang on stage.
Taeyang held his solo concert 'THE LIGHT YEAR IN SEOUL' on August 31 and September 1 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
It was Taeyang's first solo concert in seven years, and it had a massive buzz even before it started. All tickets for all dates sold out within five minutes of opening.
Taeyang kicked off the grand opening with 'Nightfall,' 'Prayer,' and 'I'll Be There.' He captivated the audience with various performances, including 'Vibe,' '1AM,' and 'Make Love.'
He delivered a series of mega-hit performances. Starting with solo songs 'Only Look at Me' and 'Wedding Dress,' Taeyang then moved on to 'Blue,' 'If You,' and 'Loser,' stirring nostalgia and emotions.
Surprise guests appeared at the concert. G-Dragon and Daesung were the stars. Daesung performed alongside Taeyang on both days, showcasing their perfect chemistry.
G-Dragon made an appearance on the second day, adding to the excitement on stage. The audience gave a roaring cheer as they saw BIGBANG's full lineup together after a long time.
Other top-tier guests also lent support. Jeon So-mi showcased sibling-like chemistry with Taeyang. BSS (BooSeokSoon) added heat to the performance with their hits 'Fighting' and 'Just Do It.'
Lastly, Taeyang expressed his gratitude, saying, "I want to thank the concert staff and our The Black Label family who worked hard for this performance."
He continued, "Thanks to the fans who came to see me, I think I'm able to sing on stage like this."
He added, "Another precious, unforgettable memory has been made. I'll successfully complete my Asia tour with the strength I've received from you all and come back."
With strong support from fans, an encore stage followed. Taeyang passionately sang 'Bad Boy' and 'Still Life,' wrapping up the concert amid the crowd's chants.
Meanwhile, starting with this Seoul concert, Taeyang will tour Asia, visiting Osaka, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei, and more.
