BTS's RM met with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion. They will release "Neva Play" on the 6th at 1 PM KST.

Megan Thee Stallion announced the news of the new song on social media at midnight on the 2nd. The two artists collaborated on "Neva Play" (feat. RM).

Megan Thee Stallion expressed her excitement by saying, "RM's lyrics are among the best I've heard so far. I've never heard RM rap in this style before."

The cover image for the new song was also revealed. RM and Megan Thee Stallion appeared in a comic book-like setting, reminiscent of Marvel or DC Comics heroes.

BTS and Megan Thee Stallion first collaborated on the remix of the single "Butter" in August 2021. "Butter" is a cheerful and refreshing song to which Megan added her signature powerful rap.

In November of that year, Megan made a surprise appearance at BTS’s "Permission to Dance On Stage – LA" concert held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, performing "Butter" together.

RM has been continuously collaborating with various domestic and international artists. Through his solo album, he has worked with British rapper Little Simz and American singer-songwriter Moses Sumney.

He has also teamed up with unique artists like Jo Yujin, Tablo, Park Jiyoon, American rapper Lil Nas X, singer-songwriter Colde, Hwang Soyoon, and Younha.

On the other hand, Megan Thee Stallion has topped the US Billboard Hot 100 main song chart with hits like "Savage Remix" (feat. Beyoncé) and "HISS."

She won the "Best New Artist" award at the 2021 Grammy Awards and also received the "Top Rap Female Artist" at the Billboard Music Awards and the "Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist" at the American Music Awards.
