Singer Yoo Seung-woo (27) is enlisting in the military.

A2Z Entertainment announced on the 2nd that "Yoo Seung-woo is entering the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungcheongnam-do today. After five weeks of basic military training, he will serve in the military band at the Korea Army Academy."

There will be no special events. The agency stated, "The enlistment ceremony is a time for many soldiers to be with their families. We ask that fans refrain from visiting the site."

Yoo Seung-woo greeted his fans on social media the day before. He posted a photo of his new short haircut, saying, "Thank you for staying with me until the end. Take care and stay healthy."

He added, "I will enter the training center quietly with family and friends. The site will be crowded, so even if you want to come, please understand a little."

Yoo Seung-woo first gained recognition in 2012 when he participated in Mnet's survival program 'Superstar K4.' In 2013, he released his first mini-album 'The First Picnic' and made his debut.

This year marks his 11th anniversary as a singer. On the 25th of last month, Yoo Seung-woo released his sixth mini-album 'Playlist.' He held performances up until his enlistment, creating unforgettable memories with his fans.
