Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has been nominated for the MTV Video Music Awards.

The '2024 MTV Video Music Awards' (hereafter 'VMA') announced additional nominees on the 31st (KST). TXT has been listed under the 'Best Group' category.

TXT is competing for trophies in two categories at this year's 'VMA': 'Best K-Pop' and 'Best Group'. They are standing shoulder to shoulder with formidable contenders.

The 'Best Group' category was previously known as 'Group of the Year' from 2021 to 2023. TXT has been nominated for the second consecutive year, proving their global stature.

This year, alongside TXT, N Sync, Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons have also been nominated.

TXT aims for a consecutive win at the 'VMA'. They previously won the honor of 'Push Performance of the Year' last year, triumphing over 12 other teams to take home the trophy.

The 'VMA' is considered one of America's four major music awards (Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards). It will be held on September 12 at 9 AM (KST) at the UBS Arena in New York.

Meanwhile, TXT will be holding the second day of their world tour 'ACT: PROMISE' in Macau today. They achieved a sold-out performance for both days (30th-31st).
