Tzuyu from 'Twice' has completed preparations for her solo debut.
On the 30th, JYP Entertainment released the highlight medley for Tzuyu's debut solo album 'abouTZU' (TZUYU abouTZU Album Sneak Peek) on its official SNS.
The title track is 'Run Away.' It is a contemporary reinterpretation of the synth-pop dance genre. Tzuyu's soulful vocals are captivating, expressed with delicate emotions.
The lyrics were written by Park Jin-young, JYP's producer. It describes how it takes a long time to emotionally open up to someone, but once it starts, love is given in a way that no one has ever seen before.
'Heartbreak in Heaven' (Feat. Peniel of BTOB) conveys the joy and pain of love with its playful and rapidly changing rhythms. Peniel's sincere rap enhances the song's completeness.
'Lazy Baby' is an uptempo pop genre track led by emotional piano and brass instruments, with added hip-hop elements. It cheerfully describes a holiday when you don't want to do anything.
'Losing Sleep' sings of sleepless nights due to longing for someone. 'One Love' is a strong assertion of love and conviction towards the other person.
Tzuyu challenges her first solo songwriting with 'Fly.' The lyrics include phrases such as "Taking steps one by one With me, finding the lost puzzle, when the sunlight for me shines here."
As the youngest member of Twice, Tzuyu will follow Nayeon and Jihyo as a solo artist. The agency stated, "Tzuyu is expected to show various and multifaceted music and charms."
Meanwhile, Tzuyu will release her new album on the 6th of next month at 1 PM (Eastern Standard Time, 0 AM).
