DAY6 achieved a career high on the domestic music charts ahead of their comeback.
DAY6 will release their 9th mini album 'Band Aid' and the title track 'Melt Away' on the 2nd of next month. Before their comeback, they set a new record on the music charts. The title track "Welcome to the Show" from their previous release "Fourever" in March has been climbing the charts again.
As of 10 PM on the 18th, the song ranked 10th on the Melon Top 100 chart in its fifth month since release. As of 10 AM on the 26th, it climbed to 9th place.
"To Become One Page" also broke its own record. It settled at 6th place on Melon as of 9 AM on the 28th, achieving its highest ranking in five years since its release.
"Congratulations" also remains in the top 10 based on the same criteria. Moreover, the track "Happy" from the "Fourever" album is also on the rise.
"Happy" reappeared on the charts on the 22nd, five months after its release. As of 9 AM on the 28th, it jumped to 28th place, hinting at the birth of yet another chart-climbing track.
DAY6 is celebrating their 10th debut anniversary this year. They have previously expressed their belief, "Good music eventually resonates, so we always talk about making timeless music."
The new album "Band Aid" combines the words "band" and "aid" to signify a rock group's support. The members themselves participated in writing and composing all eight tracks.
These include the title track 'Melt Away,' as well as 'Monster,' 'She Laughed,' 'Broken Game,' 'Help Me Rock & Roll,' 'Counter,' 'I'm Fine,' and 'Still Living There.'
