Actor Kim Go-eun will attend the Toronto International Film Festival.
On the 22nd, film distributor Plus M Entertainment announced, "Kim Go-eun, Noh Sang-hyun, and director Lee Eon-hee of 'Laws of the City' have confirmed their attendance at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival."
'Laws of the City' is a youth romance film that tells the story of Jae-hee (played by Kim Go-eun), a free spirit, and Heung-soo (played by Noh Sang-hyun), who keeps a distance from the world, as they live and grow together.
Even before its release, the film was invited to the Toronto International Film Festival. It has been listed under the Special Presentations section. The world premiere will introduce it to a global audience.
They will also participate in related events. Kim Go-eun, Noh Sang-hyun, and director Lee Eon-hee will walk the red carpet prepared by the film festival on the 14th of next month (Korean time) and greet local fans.
The official screening will begin on the same day. 'Laws of the City' can be seen at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. A Q&A session with the audience is planned.
The second screening schedule has also been announced. It will take place on the 15th of next month at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. There will be a Q&A session following the screening, similar to the first screening.
Meanwhile, 'Laws of the City' will be released in theaters on October 2nd.
