The poster draws attention with its contrast of golden and blue hues. Particularly, characters spanning from the 1940s to the 1980s are arranged at the hem of Sunja’s (played by Kim Min-ha) skirt.
Season 2 chronicles the saga of a Korean immigrant family over four generations. Despite being three days away from its release, it is already garnering praise from foreign media. It raises expectations for the profound impact, continuing from Season 1.
Collider reported, "It is an indispensable series when discussing modern great dramas." South China Morning Post described it as "a grand epic beautifully depicting hardship and loss."
The performances of Kim Min-ha and Youn Yuh-jung are also highly anticipated. Paste Magazine focused on the portrayals of Sunja by both actresses, stating, "Their delicate portrayal of Sunja's resilience and genuine emotions leaves a lasting impact."
Kim Min-ha and Youn Yuh-jung passionately play the role of Sunja. They respectively depict Sunja's past and present, a character who does not crumble in the face of trials given by time and love. She is a figure who builds a life in foreign lands after leaving her homeland.
