'BTS' Jin contributed to the rise in viewership ratings.

On the 19th, Jin appeared on MBC-TV's "It's Glad You Rested." According to Nielsen Korea, the episode recorded a 6.4% viewership rating (national household standards).

It ranked first among Monday variety shows, surpassing SBS-TV's "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2," and MBC-TV's "Oh Eun-young Report – Marriage Hell." It also had the highest target audience rating.

The show broke its own record for the highest viewership. The previous record was 6.1% (on the 12th). It rose by 0.3 percentage points compared to the previous episode. Considering the average is around 5%, this is a notable increase.

In this episode, Jin joined the cast as a worker on a deserted island with 'B1A4' Sandeul. He teamed up with Ahn Jung-hwan and Kim Nam-il. Lee Yeon-bok and Lee Hong-woon appeared as chefs.

"It's Glad You Rested" was Jin's first public broadcast variety show since his discharge. He couldn't hide his excitement. He declared on the boat to the deserted island that he would catch a fish as big as "Super Tuna."

However, their journey was tough, filled with labor. They had to set eel traps, make a shoe rack, and forage offshore, working tirelessly.

The feast prepared by Lee Yeon-bok captivated the viewers. He cooked dishes like chili stir-fry, flower bread, and steamed fish. Jin also got involved, making raw fish salad and kimbap with fresh seafood.

Guests praised their food. One even said, "It's so delicious I'm about to cry," genuinely shedding tears.

Meanwhile, Jin is set to release a solo album in the latter half of this year.
