Director Woo Min-ho, actors Hyun Bin, and Lee Dong-wook have confirmed their official attendance at the Galas section for the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, which will be held from September 9th to 15th.
Hyun Bin played the role of An Jung-geun, and Lee Dong-wook took on the role of Lee Chang-seob, delivering powerful performances. They shared the tumultuous journey of the independence army. This marks their first official event to introduce the film to worldwide movie fans.
The world premiere will take place on September 8th (local time) at Roy Thomson Hall. Prior to the screening, they will walk the red carpet and greet the attendees.
The next day will feature an 'In Conversation with Hyun Bin and Lee Dong-wook' event. This is one of the major programs at the Toronto International Film Festival. Invited directors or actors talk about their films.
The event will be conducted in a Q&A format with the audience. This year's event will feature global directors and actors, including Hyun Bin and Lee Dong-wook. Other invitees include director Steven Soderbergh, Cate Blanchett of 'Rumors,' and Zoë Saldaña of 'Emilia Perez.'
The Toronto International Film Festival stated, "This is one of the most anticipated Q&A sessions," and added, "We will discuss the careers and films of Korean superstars Hyun Bin and Lee Dong-wook."
'Harbin' is a spy film. It depicts the gripping chase and suspicion between those heading to Harbin with a single purpose in 1909 and those pursuing them. Directed by Woo Min-ho of 'The Man Standing Next' and 'Inside Men,' it is scheduled to be released domestically in the latter half of the year.
