SEVENTEEN's S.Coups practiced sharing for his birthday.
On the 8th, animal rescue organization WeAct stated, "S.Coups donated 30 million KRW in his and CARAT's (fandom name) names," and added, "We will work together to spread positive influence far and wide."
WeAct plans to use S.Coups' donation for the treatment costs of severely ill rescue dogs and cats. It will also be used to rescue abused dogs.
S.Coups has made multiple donations to animal-related organizations. In February of last year, he donated 50 million KRW to "Angels' Haven," a private shelter for abandoned dogs and cats, and in September of the same year, he donated 30 million KRW to WeAct.
He has supported the rescue and treatment of abused dogs. Notably, he named one rescued dog "CARAT." CARAT was rescued in critical condition and found a new family.
Additionally, S.Coups has consistently continued his good deeds. In February of last year, he donated 20 million KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association for earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria.
SEVENTEEN has also spread positive influence as a group. On May 26, in celebration of their 9th debut anniversary, they donated to the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. They supported underprivileged education groups worldwide, children who have suffered abuse, and other vulnerable groups.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN was appointed as the first-ever UNESCO youth goodwill ambassadors in June. They act as advocates for youth worldwide. They donated 1 million USD.
