KBS has become embroiled in controversy over a newly planned dating variety program. According to KBS's external production proposal, 'You're My Woman' (tentative title) is set to be scheduled in October. It is a couple matching variety show featuring women in their mid-30s and men in their 20s.

The controversy began with the program's intent. The proposal stated, "A self-managed Gold Miss in her mid-30s and a passionate and energetic cute sexy younger man in his 20s will live together to find their pairs." There are criticisms that the female participants are defined by their age and marital status while the male participants are perceived solely based on their appearance. Many believe this format is not suitable for a public broadcast.

There are also concerns that it may promote distorted views on love. According to broadcasting officials, the basic setup for the program and some casting have already been completed.

However, KBS clarified on the 29th to 'Dispatch' that "this planning is only in the proposal stage and nothing has been confirmed yet," adding, "It is a program that has not yet received scheduling or production approval."
