According to legal sources on the 28th, Lee Dong-ho, a judge at the Incheon District Court, sentenced A (30), who was charged with using a camera to film and quasi-coercive indecent acts under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes, to 1 year and 6 months in prison and detained her in court.

The court also ordered A to complete a sexual violence treatment program and imposed a ban on employment in institutions related to children, teenagers, and individuals with disabilities for three years after her release.

A was indicted for illegally filming the bodies of female patients a total of 449 times in locations such as the X-ray room while working at a dental clinic specializing in wisdom teeth in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon from 2018 to 2024.

The shocking crime was revealed thanks to the courageous report from a victim.

This incident became known last July when a woman in her 20s visited the dental clinic and responded swiftly.

The victim stated, “While I was getting an X-ray to have my wisdom teeth removed, A told me to close my eyes.” She continued, “I felt something was off, so I opened my eyes slightly and discovered that she was filming me.”

Had it not been for this brave report from the patient, A's illegal filming might have continued.

More shocking facts emerged during the investigation. The investigative agency uncovered that A had also forcibly molested a victim who was asleep after being intoxicated in December 2018. As a result, A is now facing charges of quasi-rape and indecent acts.

The court stated the reasoning behind the ruling, saying, “The frequency of A's crimes at a bus stop and a dental clinic is significant, and the methods employed indicate a serious nature of her offenses.”
