Employee and Mother Accused of Stalking Workplace Superior Sent to Prosecutors
A man and his mother, accused of stalking due to persistent harassment of his workplace superior, have been sent to the prosecutors.
On the 27th, the Seoul Gangseo Police reported that they had handed over Mr. A and his mother to the prosecution without detention on the 25th for violating the Stalking Punishment Act.
According to the investigation, Mr. A was found to have continuously sent abusive text messages and made phone calls to workplace superior Mr. B for two weeks after receiving work-related criticism.

When Mr. B reported these actions to the police, the situation worsened.
It was also investigated that Mr. A’s mother joined in, sending threatening messages to Mr. B, such as "How dare you touch my precious son" and "I will smash you to pieces."
Controversy Over the Exposure of Victim's Address Due to Police Error
As part of urgent emergency measures, during the process of sending a residence access restriction notification, the police mistakenly transferred a document containing Mr. B's address to the perpetrator, Mr. A’s phone, leading to controversy.
As a result, secondary harm occurred due to the exposure of the victim's personal information.
At the time, Mr. B expressed his difficulties, saying, "It has only been a month since I moved, and it’s hard to move again now that my address has been exposed."
The Gangseo Police have supported the installation of CCTV at Mr. B's home as a post-protection measure and provided private security services.

They also supplied a smartwatch to monitor safety during commuting hours and reinforced patrols around the residence as supplementary measures.
Currently, it is reported that the Gangseo Police are conducting an inspection regarding the police officer who leaked the victim's address.
