Three Women from One Family Fall to Their Death from a Seoul Officetel, Debt-Related Notes Found
It has been reported that debt-related notes were discovered at the home of three women who tragically fell to their deaths from an officetel in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
On the 27th, the Gangseo Police Department announced that they are investigating the incident in which three women fell from a residential-commercial officetel in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, around 9:30 PM the previous day.
Upon receiving a report that "three women are lying down," the fire authorities dispatched to the scene found one woman in her 40s and two teenage girls, all of whom were in cardiac arrest.
The mother, a woman in her 40s, and one teenage daughter were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other teenage daughter was transported to a nearby hospital after receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) but unfortunately passed away.

Suspected Causes Other than Financial Hardship, No Criminal Evidence Found
According to police investigations, no suicide note was found in the residence of the three women, but it has been reported that debt-related notes were discovered. However, it is assumed that they were not in a situation of extreme financial hardship.
A Gangseo-gu official stated, "I understand that the deceased were not recipients of basic livelihood support."
The Ministry of Health and Welfare confirmed that these individuals had never been detected by the Happiness e-Eum System, which monitors crisis households for issues such as power and water shutoffs.

The daughters, who are of middle and high school age, were reported to be preparing for the high school equivalency exam rather than attending school.
The police are currently investigating the husband, identified as a businessman, as a witness. They have initially concluded that there is no evidence of criminal activity related to the deaths of the three women. No signs of drug use or alcohol consumption were found.
As part of their investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances, the police are reviewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from before and after the incident, and they are examining mobile phone forensics. They decided not to request an autopsy in consideration of the family’s wishes.
