‘Sadang-gwi’ side apologizes for Kim Jin-woong’s remarks… “We will be more careful in the production process.”

The production team of 'SaDangGwi' also apologized for broadcaster Kim Jin-woong's remarks. On the 27th, the KBS-2TV program 'SaDangGwi' stated, "We sincerely apologize for the distress and discomfort caused by the content aired last week." They continued, "We will pay more careful attention throughout the entire production process to ensure that this type of incident does not occur again," and promised, "We will repay our viewers with a more responsible and mature broadcast."

In a broadcast of 'SaNaGwi' aired on the 24th, Kim Jin-woong sparked controversy by saying, "I can't live like Senior Do Kyung-wan. It may be rude to say this about a senior, but I can't live as someone’s subordinate."

Jang Yoon-jung expressed her displeasure through Instagram, stating, "Without any personal connection, words or actions that the other person cannot laugh at cannot be disguised as jokes or pranks. There is no subordinate in a family."

She later mentioned, "I received an apology message. I think it is important to accept the apology out of consideration for their feelings," and added, "I won't say much. I hope the future brings abundance, happiness, and good fortune."

Kim Jin-woong also apologized to the public, saying, "It feels like a precious opportunity that came to me, but I was overly eager and not cautious. As a result, I ended up saying something I shouldn't have. I sincerely apologize."

Do Kyung-wan acknowledged that "Our couple's image may appear to lean towards one side for some people," but affirmed, "We respect and care for each other and are living solidly together."

KBS has also suspended the re-broadcast service for the controversial episode in light of public criticism. Following this, the production team issued an apology, promising careful consideration in future broadcasts.
