(G)I-DLE Donates 50 Million Won to Red Cross for Flood Recovery Support

(G)I-DLE practiced warm sharing to support flood recovery efforts.

On the 29th, the Korean Red Cross announced, "Members of (G)I-DLE, Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, each donated 10 million won, totaling 50 million won, to support flood recovery efforts."

The Korean Red Cross continued, "This donation came as (G)I-DLE recognized the importance of the Red Cross emblem and humanitarian activities, and thus participated in the flood relief and recovery efforts following the heavy rains."

The members conveyed, "We hope that the Red Cross’s humanitarian activities, which save lives, will provide comfort to the flood victims and help them return to their daily lives as soon as possible."

Kim Chul-soo, the president of the Korean Red Cross, said, "We believe that the support from (G)I-DLE will provide warm consolation and great strength to the flood victims in the affected areas."

He added, "As a legally appointed disaster management responsibility agency and relief support organization, the Korean Red Cross commits to doing our utmost in the flood recovery activities."

Meanwhile, the Korean Red Cross has been continuously conducting emergency relief and recovery activities in various regions across the country that have been severely affected by the heavy rains since the 8th. More than 2,600 employees and volunteers have participated in the efforts.
