“After Idol, It’s Japan”… JD1 to Release Digital Single in August

Singer JD1 (Jeong Dong-won) is set to embark on his campaign in Japan.

Shoplay Entertainment announced on the 29th, "JD1 will begin his activities in Japan, starting with 'Dream Concert World In Japan 2024.'"

'Dream Concert World In Japan' will be held on November 10-11 at PepsiCo Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. JD1 will perform on the first day, showcasing the charm of K-pop to local fans.

Plans for a new release are also in place. He is set to release his first Japanese digital single in mid-November. He will sing the Japanese version of his second single 'ERROR 405.'

Various promotions are being planned. He will appear on popular programs. Two to three schedules have already been confirmed. He will also hold fan signings and give interviews to major media outlets.

The agency stated, "JD1 will use this Japanese debut as a stepping stone to engage in musical activities across various genres and expand his overseas activities. We hope for a lot of support from the fans."

Meanwhile, JD1 is a sub-character and independent persona created by Jeong Dong-won to challenge various genres. It was planned with the goal of making an impact in the K-pop market.
