
Cats Eye has risen to the top of the streaming charts, producing another song with 200 million streams. According to the latest Spotify statistics (as of the 21st), Cats Eye has added their second 200 million streaming song with "Gnarly," a track from their second EP album. This follows the title track "Touch" from their first EP album, also achieving the same milestone. "Gnarly" reached 200 million streams just 113 days after its release, showcasing their global rise. In comparison, "Touch" took 139 days to surpass 200 million streams, with "Gnarly" breaking that record by 26 days.
"Gnarly" is a song that combines hyper-pop with elements of dance and punk. Its psychedelic music video and performances have captivated listeners. In addition to "Gnarly," Cats Eye also has several other hit songs, including "Gabriela" and "Debut," which are on track to reach 200 million streams. Notably, "Gabriela" surpassed 100 million streams just 28 days after its release, outpacing "Gnarly" (which achieved this in 52 days), leading to expectations of setting new records.
The album's popularity is also strong, with the second EP having recently surpassed a cumulative total of 460 million streams. It receives over 5 million streams daily. Meanwhile, Cats Eye will hold a fan signing event in Seoul on the 22nd, marking their first meeting with domestic fans in three months.
