Lee Jae-sang, the CEO of HYBE, has become a new member of the Recording Academy in the United States.

HYBE announced on the 22nd, "CEO Lee Jae-sang has been listed as a member of the Recording Academy." He is registered as a professional member, meeting qualifications for overall producers, journalists, music college professors, and senior officials at labels. His career and expertise in the music industry have been recognized. Starting from 2026, he will be able to participate in the voting for the Grammy Awards.

Lee Jae-sang has led the growth of K-pop in the global music market. He has served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of HYBE and as the representative of HYBE America. He became the CEO of HYBE in September last year and is spearheading the new growth strategy 'HYBE 2.0.' In May, he was also selected as one of the '2025 Billboard Global Power Players.'

The Recording Academy is an organization of music professionals. Since its establishment in 1957, it has represented the voices of those working in the music industry and has been hosting the artistic award ceremony, the 'Grammy Awards,' since 1959.

Last month, 16 HYBE musicians registered as new members. This includes producers like ZICO, 'SEVENTEEN' members Woozi and Vernon, 'TOMORROW X TOGETHER' Yeonjun, 'ENHYPEN' Sunghoon, 'LE SSERAFIM' Heo Yunjin, and Cat's Eye.
