Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio is set to showcase a new persona.
Warner Bros. Korea announced on the 20th that “One Battle After Another” (directed by Wes Anderson) has confirmed its release in South Korea this October, also unveiling a teaser poster.
The poster captures DiCaprio's fierce and intimidating gaze. He is seen aiming a gun while staring intently at a target, hinting at a relentless pursuit to find his missing daughter.
“One Battle After Another” falls under the crime action genre. The story revolves around Bob Ferguson (played by DiCaprio), a man whose life is in disarray, as he chases down Steven J. ロックジョ (played by Sean Penn), who has kidnapped his daughter.
DiCaprio takes on the role of Ferguson, who embarks on a quest for revenge to find his lost daughter, revealing a rugged demeanor not seen in his previous roles.
Sean Penn will portray his long-time nemesis, ロックジョ, engaging in a tense acting rivalry with DiCaprio. Benicio Del Toro joins as Ferguson’s companion, Sergio.
Wes Anderson is at the helm as director. He is known for his work on “The Phenixian Scheme” and “Magnolia,” gaining recognition in the film industry for his unique aesthetics and directing style.
Meanwhile, “One Battle After Another” is set to be released in October.
