A man in his 20s has been apprehended by the police for posting a threat on social media about planting bombs at the concert venue of the virtual idol group 'Playv'.

On the 20th, the Yongin Western Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced that they have booked a man identified as A on charges of public intimidation and are conducting an investigation.

A is accused of sharing a post related to Playv's encore concert scheduled to take place on November 21-22 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul, stating, "I will plant bombs at Gocheok Dome."

Swift Police Response and Suspect Arrest

The police immediately launched an investigation after receiving a report from a citizen around 1:50 PM the previous day, and through rapid action, they identified and apprehended A, who resides in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province.

During the police investigation, it is reported that A stated he did it "as a joke." The police are currently thoroughly investigating A's exact motive for the crime and any additional charges.
