Jang Dong-hyuk, a candidate for the People Power Party's 8/22 National Convention, strongly criticized the actions of former Justice Minister Jo Guk following his special pardon on the 19th.

He specifically condemned Jo Guk's actions following his release, stating, "As soon as Jo Guk was released, he did not betray expectations and continues his 'Jo-mandaejang-gyeong' actions."

The term 'Jo-mandaejang-gyeong' refers to the constant stream of posts Jo Guk made on social media, reminiscent of the Haeinsa temple's Tripitaka Koreana.

He additionally stated, "I will prove that the people have not yet forgiven Jo Guk, whom Lee Jae-myung has forgiven," emphasizing, "The Lee Jae-myung regime will pay dearly for pardoning Jo Guk and Yoon Mi-hyang."
