On the 19th, Stray Kids released their new mini-album 'ATE'. On the same day, the title track 'Chk Chk Boom' and its music video were also unveiled.
They dominated the YouTube rankings. The 'Chk Chk Boom' music video topped YouTube's Worldwide Trending Music Videos chart for six consecutive days since its release.
The view count is skyrocketing. It started trending in 33 regions and increased to 59 regions by the 22nd. It also ranked among the trending music videos in 82 regions.
The music video showcased their global presence. Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman made surprise appearances, transforming into Deadpool and Wolverine.
Set against the backdrop of New York City, they delivered a visually captivating performance. The chemistry between the members and the two stars drove high view counts, surpassing 44.96 million views as of the 24th.
'ATE' marks Stray Kids' first comeback of the year. They displayed exceptional confidence, declaring, "We will dominate the summer music market in 2024."
They achieved million-seller status on the first day of the release. According to Hanteo Chart, 'ATE' recorded 1,654,332 copies sold on the first day of sales.
Stray Kids will headline at Lollapalooza Chicago in the U.S. on the 2nd of next month.
