Kim Geon-hee, who was arrested, expressed her thoughts during the first special investigation after her arrest, asking, "Will I be able to live with my husband again?"
During the first special investigator's inquiry since her arrest on the 14th, Kim Geon-hee, wife of former President Yoon Seok-youl, exercised her right to refuse to testify and reportedly expressed her feelings, saying, "Will I be able to live with my husband again? Will we be able to meet again?"
The legal team of the former president relayed Kim's comments, noting that she was questioned for about four hours from 9:56 AM to 2:10 PM.

During the investigation, it was reported that Kim exercised her right to refuse to testify for most of the questions.
Concerns about health and additional investigation schedule
The special investigation team conducted an additional inquiry regarding allegations of interference in nominations just two days after Kim Geon-hee's arrest.
According to her legal team, Kim stated in the inquiry that she did not give any instructions to Mr. Myung regarding nominations and public opinion surveys.

Furthermore, the legal team mentioned that Kim's health condition is not good, and she is scheduled to receive in-person medical treatment next week.
The special investigation team announced plans to conduct a second inquiry at 10 AM on the 18th, after the Liberation Day holiday, but Kim's side stated that they would decide whether to comply with the second inquiry after meeting with her lawyers that morning.
Kim Geon-hee was arrested on the 12th on charges involving stock manipulation related to Deutsche Motors (violating capital market laws), interference in nominations related to Mr. Myung (violating political funding laws), and allegations of solicitation through Seongbae Jeon, a practitioner known as Geonjin (receiving bribes).
