Actress Kim Go-eun's new film has been invited to an international film festival.

Distributor Plus M Entertainment announced on the 23rd that the film "Love Laws of a Big City" (directed by Lee Eon-hee) has been officially invited to the 49th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Giovanna Fulvi, Senior Programmer, stated, "The film convincingly explores the journey of individuals finding themselves within the flow of social norms" as the reason for the invitation.

She added, "The detailed direction and the actors' performances complete the film. It portrays the complex explorations of youth, identity, and love in a refreshing and moving way."

The Toronto International Film Festival is the largest film festival in North America. It is considered one of the world's four major film festivals, alongside the Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, and Venice Film Festival.

"Love Laws of a Big City" has been listed in the Special Presentations section. Following films like "Mother," "Parasite," "The Handmaiden," and "The Age of Shadows," it will meet global audiences.

The film will premiere for the first time at TIFF on September 13. It will be a World Premiere screening, aiming to create cross-border empathy.

Meanwhile, "Love Laws of a Big City" is a youthful romance story about a free-spirited woman and a man with a secret living together. It will be released on October 2.
