Day6 has kicked off their 10th-anniversary celebration by releasing a new album trailer film. This year marks the group's 10th anniversary since their debut. They have been working on related projects, starting with 'The DECADE of Us' on the 4th of this month.
Following this, additional content was revealed. On the 13th, JYP Entertainment uploaded the trailer film for Day6's fourth studio album, 'The DECADE,' on the band's social media.
The video runs for about 2 minutes and 11 seconds, featuring the members appearing in a serene setting. A gray-haired conductor placed a metronome and waved a baton in time with the beat.
With the music, the atmosphere shifted dramatically. Day6 appeared to play like children, moving around the party venue and interacting with guests.
This will be their first studio album in approximately 5 years and 11 months, following the release of their third studio album, 'The Book of Us: Entropy,' in October 2019.
'The DECADE' encapsulates the musical spectrum that the band has meticulously built over the past 10 years, reaffirming their reputation as 'Trustworthy Day6.'
Before the album release, they are launching a solo tour to commemorate their 10th anniversary. They will hold a concert of the same name at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on the 30th and 31st of this month.
Additionally, Day6 will be releasing 'The DECADE' at 6 PM on the 5th of next month.
