
Song Kang-ho has joined Galaxy Corporation (hereafter referred to as 'Galaxy').
Galaxy officially announced on the 14th that it has signed an exclusive contract with Song Kang-ho. He will be working alongside G-Dragon. Song Kang-ho has become Galaxy's first official actor.
Choi Yong-ho, the CEO of Galaxy, stated, "It is a great honor to open a new AI entertainment tech era together with actor Song Kang-ho, who has significantly contributed to the globalization of the global film industry."
Song Kang-ho has starred in four films that each attracted over ten million viewers: 'The Host' (2006), 'The Attorney' (2013), 'Taxi Driver' (2017), and 'Parasite' (2019).
In 2022, he won the Male Actor Award at the 75th Cannes Film Festival with 'Parasite', making him the first recipient from the Republic of Korea. Last year, he made his television debut in Disney+'s 'Uncle Sam-sik'. He is currently reviewing his next project.
