Aespa’s ‘Supernova’ has risen to the top as the best song of the first half of the year.

The British music magazine ‘Dork’ recently selected ‘BEST SONGS OF 2024 SO FAR,’ and Aespa’s ‘Supernova’ made the list.

They introduced the song: “‘Supernova’ is a cosmic piece where electropop and hip-hop collide,” and praised it, saying, “The moment you listen to the song, it takes you to a different world.”

They continued, “The beat is like a black hole that sucks you in and spits you out into another dimension. It’s not just K-pop but a space journey that overwhelms your speakers.”

American Forbes reported that Aespa’s first album ‘Armageddon’ has entered the Billboard 200 chart, noting it as “one of the highest-selling albums in the U.S.”

They further explained, “‘Armageddon’ has made it to the list of the best-selling albums in the U.S. for the first time, with a significant increase in sales compared to their previous work.”

Domestically, they have no rivals. ‘Supernova’ has held the number one spot on the weekly charts of Melon and Genie for nine consecutive weeks (July 15-21). It is the longest-running number one song released this year.

In the meantime, Aespa will continue their ‘2024 Aespa Live Tour – SYNK: Parallel Line –’ tour in Osaka, Japan on the 27th and 28th, and Fukuoka on the 30th and 31st.
