Fire in Detached House in Seo-gu, Busan, Leads to Discovery of Deceased Man in His 70s

A fire broke out at a four-story detached house located in Seo-gu, Busan, at around 5:10 AM on the 13th.

The fire started on the second floor and was fully extinguished in about an hour.

During the firefighting process, authorities made a tragic discovery. A man in his 70s was found deceased on the fourth floor of the building. Firefighters searching inside the building located the man's body.

Possible Loneliness Death Before the Fire

After closely examining the condition of the discovered body, police concluded that the man likely died before the fire occurred. Especially considering the state of decomposition, they suspect that a significant amount of time had passed since his death.

Currently, police and fire authorities are conducting an investigation at the scene to determine the exact cause of the fire.

They are focusing on identifying the ignition point and spread pattern, particularly around the second floor, while also considering electrical factors and other possibilities.
