The movie "Veteran 2" (director Ryoo Seung-wan) has been officially invited to the 49th Toronto International Film Festival.
On the 23rd, CJ ENM announced, "'Veteran 2' has been officially invited to the Special Presentations section of the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, which will be held from September 5 to 15."
With this, "Veteran 2" has confirmed its second international film festival screening. Last May, it was officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

"Veteran 2" is an action crime investigation drama. Veteran detective Seo Do-chul (played by Hwang Jung-min) is joined by rookie detective Park Sun-woo (played by Jung Hae-in) in the violent crimes investigation team. They pursue a serial killer.
The movie will be released in theaters on September 13.
